We are a simple and no frills retreat to nature. Northern Escape Retreat offers clean, simple, and affordable lodging so you can focus on creating experiences, connecting with nature, and shedding the stresses of everyday life.

A little about you: 

You want to retreat to nature without breaking the bank. Whether it's a 3-day warm-up for your hiking trip the mountain west, or your destination for a weeklong Wisconsin vacation, Northern Escape has you covered. We specialize in getting you to the right hiking spot, and love to set-up our guests to paddle the Wisconsin River.

You aren't interested in spending $500+ per night on the luxury Wisconsin lake home rentals, and crammed quarters of a hotel don't quite suite your taste. With campsites going for $40-50+ per night, you'll be wowed by the value at Northern Escape Retreat where you'll get private to semi-private lodging in a nature-soaked area. 

A little about us:

Brian is our operator, and he is here to meet your needs. Whether that is talking about hiking spots, getting you set-up to hang out on the water, or getting you situated for a sunset fire - don't hesitate to contact him with any questions or needs.

When Brian isn't tending the properties or helping a guest out, you can usually find him hanging out with his girls, spending time outside, or paddling down the river (often all at once!).

We feel truly blessed to be able to share this beautiful place, that we are fortunate enough to call home, with all of you!
