Come to relax, hike, or simply enjoy nature. It's located at the eastern tip of Lake Wisconsin. It is a clean space that is great for families. Enjoy the amenities of having a fully furnished home with some of the best views in Wisconsin. Great location that is nearly equidistant to Madison, the Dells & Devil's Lake. It's a great hub for hiking with the following all within 15 - 35 minutes: Devil's Lake, Parfrey's Glen, Gibralter Rock (ice age tr), Mackenzie Center, Lodi Marsh & Mirror Lake.

The River Queen cabin has ample space to sleep 6 (max 4 adults). We are conveniently located on Lake Wisconsin, between the Wisconsin Dells and Madison. It is the perfect home-base to explore some of Wisconsin's best outdoor attractions (Devil's Lake State Park, Parfrey's Glen, the Merrimac Ferry, the waterparks of the Dells, and any wonderful attraction that may bring you back to Madison).

This is a basement suite, meaning you will hear noise from your upstairs neighbors. It has a separate entrance and there are no shared spaces within the unit

There is a full kitchen with utensils, pots, and pans to enjoy your home-cooked meals. The kitchen is small, but fully functional. The operators have another space next door.

You can access the entirety of the unit you are renting, and you are free to use the shared space including the deck and grill.

Our operator, Brian, is typically on premise and can help you with any needs that you might have during stay. He'd love to chat and hear your story, or if you prefer, he can take a hint and can keep a distance.

The neighborhood is super quiet and you might find yourself to be the only person enjoying nature during most weekday's. There is a fair bit of weekend day traffic on the lake and in the parks, but it quiets right down at sunset. We've got a westerly view so evening sunsets are great, even from your living room window.

We are far from public transportation. You will need your own vehicle to get here, and get around. There is parking on-site for 2 cars, 10 feet from the front entrance.

There is a shared gas grill available for your use.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-five percent (95.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Seventy-five percent (75.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Forty-two percent (42.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 4 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 4 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
